This year, we were honored to be nominated for a 2025 Webby Award in the Sports Website & Mobile category for our collaboration with NOLA Gold Rugby—a joint project between Morrison Marketing and Loesch Studio. The nomination recognizes the complete redesign of NOLA Gold’s website and the launch of a bold new brand identity for the 2025 season.

We brought intentional creative direction to every touchpoint—from user flow to interface design—shaping a digital experience that captures the energy of New Orleans and the pride of NOLA Gold fans. With a bold, cohesive aesthetic and streamlined ticketing journey, the site reflects the team’s 2025 identity, Bound by the Crown, through intuitive design and a fan-first approach.
Designing Match Day: A Fan-First Digital Guide Built to Simplify Game Day
Ticketing Segmentation: Every element on the NOLA Gold ticketing page was intentionally designed to guide users toward a clear call to action. By segmenting options based on ticket types—whether fans are looking for flexible season passes, group packages, or single-match tickets—we streamlined the path to purchase and made it easier for every visitor to find what fits their needs.

Creative Direction: The 2025 creative direction for NOLA Gold Rugby centered on a full rebrand that introduced a bold, elevated identity—pairing royal symbolism with gritty, castle-inspired textures.
Every element, from the typefaces to the shield-framed player graphics, was designed to evoke legacy, pride, and power. Gold detailing, crown motifs, and rich stone backdrops created a look that felt both modern and historic, aligning with the team’s goal to position itself as a dominant force with deep New Orleans roots.
This visual system extended across all digital marketing, including match day graphics, ticket promotions, score updates, and social media content. Unified by a gothic-meets-sport aesthetic, the campaign delivered consistency and storytelling at every touchpoint—turning each post, page, or promo into a piece of the crown. Every detail was created to reinforce their 2025 rallying cry to be: “Bound by the Crown.”
